The northern tip of Hawai'i and the Kohala district present a stunning landscape to any inhabitant or visitor. In the case of HARP, the explicit concern of enlarging the scale at which archaeologists conduct their research has led to a unique, informed, and evolving perspective from which we appreciate the Kohala landscape, both past and present, cultural and environmental.
